Cincinnati’s My Artisano Cheese Wins a Bronze Medal at the World Cheese Awards

Cincinnati cheesemaker My Artisano Cheeses just received some global recognition at the 32nd-annual World Cheese Awards in Bergamo, Italy — “the planet’s biggest cheese-only event,” according to a press release.

My Artisano took home a coveted bronze award for its Sharon Creek cheese, “a bloomy rind cheese made with cows’ milk.”

“This is the first time we have entered the World Cheese Awards and it feels very rewarding that our Sharon Creek received a world-class award,” said My Artisano founder Eduardo Rodriguez in the release. “I couldn’t believe it when this past Sunday a cheesemaker friend messaged me that we received one of the awards. We always wanted to know how our cheeses stand amongst many other fine cheeses; so we entered the competition this year with help from the US Dairy Export Council (USDEC).”
