Big Sky Bread Company, which has been baking its whole-grain breads in Mountain Brook Village since 1994, is closing that bakery and moving all of its operations to its Pelham location.
The company, which distributes its bread and granola to grocery stores around the country, has simply outgrown the Mountain Brook space, president and owner Jeff Pierce said this week.
That bakery, which includes a retail space, will close its doors when the company's lease runs out at the end of this month, Pierce added.
"We've gotten to the point where we just have no room, and we keep growing and adding more stores," he said.
