C. Raker & Sons, Inc. is pleased to present the 2012 Raker Trial Gardens. We invite everyone to visit us and participate in this valuable event.
Our Trial Gardens offer visibility and insight into plants and flowers currently on the market – and also for items not yet available! The best of the best, the newest of the new. Trialed and true … we guarantee you will see something you have not seen before.
The Trial Gardens occupy more than five acres of grounds at the Raker facility, and are divided into row, hanging basket, and large container trials. We measure, grade, and record each of the 2,000+ varieties weekly. The information gathered from the Trials is a priceless resource for Raker and our partners in the horticulture industry.
In addition to our Trials, we dedicate ample space to our popular Sponsor Beds. The large, raised Sponsor Beds provide a venue for the horticulture industry’s newest plant and flower varieties from around the world!
The Raker Trial Gardens are open to everyone. Our only requirement is that you please take as many pictures as possible and share them across your social networks with as many people as possible.
Do not hesitate to ask questions or share your comments with us. We are always interested in the ideas and opinions of our friends with their hands in the dirt and their minds in the sky… get dirty!
