National Grocers Association Reveals Creative Choice Awards Category Winners

Arlington, VA-  Today, the National Grocers Association (NGA) revealed this year’s winners in its Creative Choice Awards contest, sponsored by Kellogg’s and Unilever. The year-long contest honors the best marketing and merchandising programs in the grocery industry that have positively impacted sales, had a unique benefit to the community, and raise the bar for creativity in the independent grocery sector.

The 2019 Creative Choice Awards encompassed over 500 entries submitted from supermarket operators throughout the country. Entries were judged on the criteria of creativity and effectiveness by a panel of thirty industry experts.

The contest featured ten different categories with two winners for each. One entry from a one to fifteen store operator and one entry from a store operator with more than fifteen stores. Marketing campaigns and merchandising events occurring between December 1, 2017 and December 1, 2018 were eligible for submission.

Voting is now open for the highest awards of the Creative Choice Awards contest, the “Outstanding Merchandiser” and “Outstanding Marketer” through Monday, February 18. To vote now, CLICK HERE
