Santa Monica Seafood Hires Levitt Foods as National Retail Broker

Rancho Dominguez, CA  – Roger O’Brien, President and CEO of Santa Monica Seafood, announced that Levitt Foods has been hired, effective July 1st, as the Company’s national retail broker.  Given the business development goals of this relationship, the Levitt Foods group will report to Dave Litle, recently hired as Santa Monica Seafood’s Senior Vice President of Business Development.  Dave Litle commented, “Santa Monica Seafood has been focused on its growth of the retail channel, and with the addition of Levitt Foods to our already strong retail team, this positions us for expansion into new market places.”

Levitt Foods is a national sales and brokerage company representing a wide range of processors and distributors that specialize in all proteins — beef, pork, poultry and seafood — for major and independent grocers throughout the United States.  Art Levitt, President and CEO, has over 40 years of experience within the meat and seafood categories having worked directly for numerous regional and national retailers at everything from being a meat cutter to being Vice President over meat/seafood divisions.  Over the past 17 years, Levitt Foods has developed a national sales team focused on store level product placement and execution, using a consultative partnership approach for growing sales for both retailers and manufacturers.
