Selected from among 22 county dairy princesses who have served since the spring of 2019, Natalie Vernon will devote an additional year to promoting milk and dairy products with American Dairy Association North East (ADA North East).

American Dairy Association North East, in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, revealed the recreation of three of the state’s most popular pro-sports mascots — Philadelphia Flyers’ Gritty, Philadelphia Eagles’ Swoop and Pittsburgh Steelers’ Steely McBeam — all carved from 1,000 pounds of butter.

Pennsylvania Dairy Industry Set to Feature at Pennsylvania, Keystone Farm Shows

Pennsylvania’s dairy industry will be on full display during the 2020 Pennsylvania Farm Show in Harrisburg from January 3-11, and the Keystone Farm Show in York from January 7-9. American Dairy Association North East invites consumers to visit with dairy farmers and industry representatives in the many interactive displays and events.

Dairy Promoters Eligible For Scholarship Opportunity

Dairy promoters from Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Virginia are eligible to apply for theAmerican Dairy Association North East’s $500 Leo Briggs Memorial Scholarship. Applications are due November 15.
