‘Fall in Love with Seafood’ Campaign Drives Double-Digit Growth at H-E-B

Seafood Nutrition Partnership’s ‘Fall in Love with Seafood’ campaign improved seafood sales and increased demand with consumers at H-E-B’s 420 stores throughout January 2024. SNP partnered with the Texas-based supermarket chain to target current seafood consumers that saw an increase in January sales v. the previous 12 weeks. The campaign, supported by nine H-E-B seafood suppliers and key media influencers like Valentine Thomas, drove a strong return on investment of $4.24 for each $1 marketing spend.

The goals of the campaign are to help consumers eat seafood
at least twice a week for improved health and to bring awareness to amazing online seafood
companies. This multi-media initiative aims to promote direct-to-consumer companies and brands
through web, email, and social platforms and drive consumers to shop directly through participating
companies’ online stores.

SNP Hosts Virtual Town Hall to Celebrate National Seafood Promotion Campaign Roll-Out

Seafood Nutrition Partnership (SNP) will update the National Seafood Council Task Force (NSCTF) members and the industry on the ‘Fall in Love with Seafood’ consumer campaign strategy at a virtual town hall. The meeting will be via Zoom on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at 4 pm EST/ 1 pm PST. Speakers will present 2023 accomplishments, campaign strategy, and showcase preliminary results from the Fall in Love with Seafood campaign roll-out at H-E-B this January.

Seafood Nutrition Partnership (SNP) is partnering with H-E-B to encourage Texans to Fall in Love with Seafood to live healthier and happier lives. Throughout January in all 420 H-E-B stores, the campaign will highlight the myriad of delicious and nutritious seafood options available. Social, digital, and in-store media will feature mouthwatering imagery and sassy headlines designed to break through and grab consumer attention.

Dr. Richard Bazinet Joins Seafood Nutrition Partnership’s Scientific Nutrition Advisory Council

Richard Bazinet, Ph.D. is the newest Seafood Nutrition Partnership’s Scientific Nutrition Advisory Council (SNAC) addition. SNAC members are leading researchers in science, nutrition, and health. Dr. Bazinet is the Canada Research Chair in Brain Lipid Metabolism at the University of Toronto.
