Madison, WI — The International Dairy Deli Bakery Association announces that we will be presented with the Trade Show News Network (TSNN) Best of Sustainability Award at the 2019 TSNN Awards held in Dallas November 15-17.
This year at our annual tradeshow, IDDBA 19, we focused on reducing our CO2 emissions by running refrigerated and frozen trailers off of 208 volt, 60 amp, 3 phase electricity. The result created a diversion of approximately 326-389 tons of CO2.
Our sustainable efforts continued with food donations to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. Exhibiting companies generously donated 176,315 pounds of food, this translates to 146,870 meals.
We are honored to receive this award and we are looking forward to continuing our green actions in Indianapolis for IDDBA 20, May 31-June 2, 2020.
