Price Rite Marketplace Continues Rebrand Rollout

Keasbey, NJ – Price Rite Marketplace today announced the next step in its rebranding efforts with plans to reveal its fresh new look and shopping experience at 17 additional stores this year. The supermarket retailer is introducing its award-winning redesigned store concept focused on deep discounts and fresh foods on the heels of successful rebrandings at select locations in Pennsylvania and Connecticut.

Seventeen Price Rite Marketplace stores in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York and Pennsylvania are the latest in line to welcome the new store concept, and additional Price Rite Marketplace stores will be redesigned in 2020. Customers who visit these stores will find bright, revitalized  décor, including a market-style produce department brimming with fresh fruit, vegetables and organics, and the new ‘Drop Zone’ stocked with special surprise buys on must-have grocery items. Unique new private label and organic products can also be found on shelves and lower prices extend across hundreds of items.

“Our customers have really embraced the new marketplace feel, focus on fresh foods, and amazing deals at the rebranded stores,” said Jim Dorey, president of Price Rite Marketplace. “We are excited to bring this new streamlined shopping experience to 17 more stores across four states this fall.”

Price Rite Marketplace kicked off its rebranding campaign in fall 2018 with three stores in Pennsylvania, followed by five more Connecticut stores in March. The changes attracted new customers, generated industry buzz and even secured a National Grocers Association Creative Choice Award for outstanding marketing and merchandising in the supermarket industry.

Building off that success, Price Rite Marketplace will rebrand 17 more stores, with the next five rolling out in Connecticut on Aug. 2 and additional grand reopenings continuing through October at store locations in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and New York. The rest of the rebrand rollout is planned for 2020.

The new concept stores will feature a creative store design with quality products and deep discounts, including the new Price Rite Marketplace ‘Drop Zone,’ designed as a unique in-store destination where customers can find extraordinary deals, special surprise buys and must-have products typically priced $5 or less.

In addition, Price Rite Marketplace has lowered everyday prices on hundreds of items with its ‘Amazing Value!’ offers across the store. Customers will discover great weekly deals on their favorite items with new easy-to-find ‘Spot on Savings!’ signs and easy-to-shop bright red “spots” popping up in every aisle.

The new Price Rite Marketplace offers a wider selection of Wholesome Pantry private label products, with free-from, organic, and gluten-free options; plus, a double-your-money-back guarantee on Price Rite Marketplace brand products. High-quality affordable meats, with brands such as Certified Angus® Beef, Perdue’s No Antibiotics Ever Chicken, Wholesome Pantry organic chicken, and Oasis Halal, are also part of the many “Fresh New Finds!” at the rebranded stores.

Price Rite Marketplace is committed to providing the freshest selection of produce and bakery items, including a new bakery department featuring the ‘The Sweet Spot’ dessert case and an enhanced produce department with a farmer’s market look and feel.
