First Facilities Certified to BAP Chain of Custody Standard

Three U.S.-based seafood production facilities have become the first to be certified to the new Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) Chain of Custody (CoC) Standard.

Kvarøy Fiskeoppdrett, known in the United States as Kvarøy Arctic, is Norway’s first salmon farm to be awarded Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) certification, the Global Aquaculture Alliance announced in early September.

Nova Austral Salmon Farm Site Attains BAP Certification

The Global Aquaculture Alliance on July 14 welcomed Nova Austral S.A. into the Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) third-party certification program with the certification of the company’s Aracena 19 salmon farm site in Región de Magallanes at the southern tip of Chile.
