Cricket Creek Farm of Williamstown, MA is recalling 165 units of Sophelise cheese and 149 pounds of Tobasi cheese because it has the potential to be contaminated with Listeria.

Straus Family Creamery Supports the Food and Drug Administration’s Proposed Labeling Recommendation

Earlier this year, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) published draft guidance for public comment to help establish appropriate labeling of plant-based products that are marketed and sold as milk alternatives. The FDA is now recommending that alternative milk products with the word “milk” in their names, and which have a nutrient composition different from dairy milk, include a voluntary nutrition statement explaining how the product stacks up to animal-derived milk.

The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has determined that a laboratory error incorrectly caused last week’s recall announcement concerning lēf Farms “Spice” Packaged Salad Greens. The products from lēf Farms are safe and the recall has been canceled.

Sodexo is voluntarily recalling 8 .53oz packages of Simply To Go Strawberry Yogurt Parfaits and 9.24oz packages Simply To Go Blueberry Yogurt Parfaits because they may contain undeclared soy ingredients. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to soy run the risk of serious life- threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.
