As of February 13th current CEO Peter Vriends will step down as CEO. Peter served for 5 years as CEO of Chrysal and led the acquisition of the company by OAT and was the driving force behind the growth of the company. 

Chrysal introduces Recyclable Liquid Flower Food Sachet

In the last couple of years Chrysal worked intensively in making their packaging and products sustainable, such as introducing our sustainable sachets. And it even gets better with the new Chrysal Recyclable Liquid sachet. The Chrysal Recyclable Liquid sachet is the first liquid flower food package made from fully recyclable plastic, polypropylene.

Chrysal Compostable Sachet Receives Home Compostable Certificate

Our compostable sachet, introduced in 2018 has recently received the DIN Home Compostable Certificate (9P0044). This means that not only is the sachet industrial compostable, but is also home compostable; taking  26 weeks to decompose in a home compost heap. With the introduction of the compostable sachet Chrysal contributes to the change within the flower industry moving from traditional plastic packaging to more sustainable alternatives.
