“CBS Sunday Morning” to Feature Frieda’s in Annual Food Issue Scheduled to Air November 24

Los Alamitos, CA – “CBS Sunday Morning” is gearing up for “Eat, Drink, & Be Merry”— its annual food issue broadcast that has become an American tradition leading up to Thanksgiving. Scheduled to air Sunday November 24, 2019, the broadcast celebrates food and shares stories of food purveyors that have had a profound impact on American food culture. National correspondent Rita Braver will be covering Frieda’s Specialty Produce. 

The CBS Sunday Morning website has already been updated with this year’s top holiday recipes and menu suggestions, including dishes that will be featured in the annual food issue. Frieda’s Stokes Purple Sweet Potato Pie with Maple Whipped Cream is among the recipes featured.
