“It all starts with the end consumers demanding more personalization. More options to fit their own personal needs and tastes” says Liat Kaplan, Global Marketing Manager, Danziger.

This year, Danziger chose to display its large assortment in a new way. Split into concepts by windows, a wide portfolio of Gyp, mums and fillers was exhibited, allowing visitors to find the best solution for their own needs. The 4th window was to show options of real-life uses, bouquets and arrangements with the new and best sellers varieties.

“We feel this need increasing from all parts of the value chain- from growers, through wholesalers and florists, all are much more open to expanding their assortment, offering a wider assortment for their customers”, says Ori Danziger, Deputy CEO.

One of the high focus series was the SCOOP™ collection, a series of 17 varieties, outstanding for its large heads, unique texture and wide color collection. “We feel the market's tendency towards “cushion” style, with many petals and fluffy texture. Our vegetative breed of the Scabiosa, enabled us to bring a game-changing series with the crop, offering a creative and unordinary new flower, to fit this tendency”, says Danziger. One of the varieties in the series SOFT SCOOP™ a lavender cushion has one the 1st prize in the diversification segment at the competition held during the exhibition, showing once more the market acknowledge the uniqueness and the beauty of this amazing crop.

At Danziger's display, one could also find many novelties; fresh from last month’s blooming for mums, with unique colors and textures.

Being the global leader of the Gyp market, Danziger used this exhibition to introduce its wide gyp assortment, with different sizes and colors, with the leading XLENCE™ large flower, to the “MY WHITE COSMIC™ known for its extra white flowers. For small flowers, Danziger introduced its very new varieties “MILLION STARS Ⅱ™" and “MILLION CLOUDS™”, as well as the MILLION DAISY™, also known as OPHELIA™, which has  unique “empty centered” flowers, resembling mini daisies.

“We take it up on ourselves to continue to “imagine more”, bringing new creative solutions to our industry, from top of the line breeding, to extraordinary marketing solutions, and this exhibition is always a very good opportunity to speak directly with so many factors in our industry, to share and to listen, in order to identify the industry's future needs. No doubt, we are coming back home with a lot of homework”, says Kaplan.

Danziger will participate in IFTF Holland in November, booth B4.24
