Gluten-Free Bakery Opening In Longmont, CO

LONGMONT - Aime's Love Bakery plans to open on Valentine's Day in downtown Longmont in honor of its name, which means Love's Love.

The gluten-free bakery and cafe is going through final inspections at 331 Main St. after the co-owners spent about $150,000 on extensive remodeling to the space. The bakery is named after the great-great-great grandfather of co-owner Jennifer Love Walter and the grandfather of co-owner Morgan Elizabeth Dalton. Both men were bakery owners.

Dalton's grandfather's middle name was Aime, which means "love" in French. Walter's great-great-great grandfather's name was Robert Love Sr., who started Love's Bakery in 1851 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
